The Encode Fellowship is fellow-first. We find people with the skill and ambition to lead a fast-paced build within one-year - some come with their own ideas, others are still exploring.

If you are a domain expert who wants to work alongside a Fellow on real science challenges, or if you have a major science challenge, a dataset, or an idea that could be interesting to an Encode Fellow, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking cutting-edge research projects that leverage AI to solve high-impact, novel problems across ARIA’s opportunity spaces. Projects should be ambitious, interdisciplinary, and have early clear indicators of translational potential, whether through startups, non-profits, or alternative research institutions.

Faculty Advisors will co-design and lead a 12 month fellowship project in your lab. As a Faculty Advisor, you will:
